FactNuggets is a child-friendly educational app that helps children explore fascinating subjects through short, illustrated fact cards. Discoveries are grouped into themed worlds and finite learning packs, so each session has a clear purpose and endpoint.

There is no endless feed to keep a child swiping. Before they start, children can see the learning pack they chose and its card count. They explore a defined set of discoveries, celebrate completion, and reach a natural place to stop.

A defined endpoint lets children finish an idea and feel successful, instead of being pulled toward the next item automatically. It also makes it easier for families to build short, intentional learning moments into the day.

Children can follow their curiosity through topics such as animals, dinosaurs, ocean life, space, geography, monuments, deserts, planets, and trains. The app presents big subjects in small, approachable discoveries designed for young learners.

Yes. Large illustrations, simple visual navigation, generous tap targets, and warm read-aloud narration make it approachable for pre-readers as well as emerging readers. Children can explore independently or alongside a grown-up.

FactNuggets does not ask children for a name, email address, phone number, photograph, precise location, contacts, messages, or payment information. The app is designed to keep the child experience focused on learning rather than personal data.

In the current Android release, completed packs, saved discoveries, preferences, and learning progress are stored locally on the device. This information is not sent to FactNuggets servers for advertising, analytics, or behavioural profiling.

Because progress is stored on the device, uninstalling FactNuggets, clearing its app storage, or resetting the device may permanently remove saved progress and discoveries. The current release does not include cloud backup or account-based recovery.

FactNuggets is designed as an offline-first experience. Once the learning content needed by the app is available on the device, children can explore without relying on a continuous internet connection.

There is no required session length. Every learning pack shows a defined number of discoveries, so families can complete a pack or pause between discoveries according to the time and attention available that day.

Yes. Children can choose an illustrated world and select a learning pack that interests them. The visual navigation is designed to support curiosity and independent choice without presenting an endless stream of recommendations.

Yes. Sound preferences can be managed in the app and stay on the device. Children can follow the illustrated text with narration when it helps, or explore without sound when that better suits the family or setting.
